Assessment Centres have been established in the Smiths Falls, Brockville and Kemptville area.

Smiths Falls: Assessments are done by appointment only.  Appointments can be booked by calling 613-283-2330 ext. 1401.

Brockville: Open to Walk Ins for those displaying symptoms between 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Centre (100 Magedoma Blvd).  More Information Here.

Kemptville: Open on a first come, first serve basis between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays at the Bell Hall on the Kemptville Campus (830 Prescott Street).

COVID-19 is a new virus that continues to be researched by experts around the world.  Most people with mild coronavirus illness will recover on their own but anyone who believes they have the illness are asked to self-isolate.

The following symptoms are known:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Pneumonia in Both Lungs


As of March 16, 2020, there are no specific treatments or vaccine to protect again COVID-19.  Those feeling unwell should perform the self assessment, as well as:

  • Drink plenty of Fluids
  • Get Rest
  • For cough or a sore throat, use a humidifier or hot shower.
