Coco Paving Inc. has been awarded the Ministry of Transportation contract to perform culvert improvements on Highway 401. One of these culverts exits the embankment along Brockmere Cliff Dr at the cul-de-sac at the end of Butternut Bay Rd. This culvert will require a steel liner to be installed inside of the old concrete culvert and concrete poured in the annular space around it. See diagram below for the culvert location.
Due to the depth of the culvert and the steepness of the embankment slope, access to the end of the culvert via Butternut Bay Rd has been granted to Coco. The work has been scheduled to be completed for 2 weeks in October starting on October 13, 2020 and from December 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021. In order to perform the work labour, equipment and materials will be mobilized to the culvert end via Butternut Bay Rd. During the day the work the work will be quite loud for the new culvert liner installation. At night quiet heaters, pumps and generators will be running to keep the work site dry and warm. We will coordinate access with the adjacent home owners and they will be provided full access to come and go as needed.
We apologize in advance for the disturbance and will make all efforts to minimize the impact. If you have any questions please email me or call me on my cell phone at the number below.
