The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley broke ground on construction of the new Fire Station #3 at an official ceremony on October 29, 2020. The new station will be located at the corner of County Road 29 and Baker Road, and will offer space that is more accessible and can better accommodate larger vehicles.
The work will replace the station built in 1964 located in the hamlet of Frankville. The existing station will remain in operation until the new building is complete and can be occupied. Construction will take place during the remainder of 2020 and 2021 with a targeted completion date of July, 2020.
