The Toledo Senior Fitness Group donated over $400 to the Elizabethtown-Kitley Fire Services to be used towards the purchase of a defibrillator to be permanently placed in the meeting room/kitchen space of Fire Station 3. The money was raised by class participants in appreciation of the Fire Service allowing the Recreation Department to offer the program in their facility.
The Toledo Senior Fitness Group is a program associated by the Senior Support Services of CPHC (https://cphcare.ca), and their volunteer instructors who have been using the space since September, 2022. Classes occur on Tuesday and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. inside of Fire Station 3 located at 410 County Road 29, Toledo. Those who may be interested are encouraged to contact email@example.com.
Since the opening of the Station in 2021, the meeting room has been used as a biweekly exercise space, training room and event space. While defibrillators are equipped on emergency response vehicles, the area is inaccessible to the public who may be using the meeting room and kitchen space.
