After more than a decade of strong electricity supply, Ontario is entering a period of substantially decreasing electricity supply and
increasing electricity demand that will require new electricity resources this decade. To address these needs, the Independent
Electricity System Operator (the “IESO”) is competitively securing 4,000 Megawatts of near-term capacity through multiple
long-term requests for proposals (LT RFP), including 2,5050 Megawatts through its LT1 RFP. Crystal Energy Storage, along with its development partner Baseload Power LP, is developing the Project in response to this need and the LT1 RFP. This meeting is an opportunity for stakeholders to review details of the Project and provide comments to the Project team.
