Hallecks Road Underpass Replacement (MTO Contract 2021-4089)
R.W Tomlinson Limited would like to advise all stakeholders and emergency service providers that construction will soon begin March 13, 2023 and continue until November 15, 2023. Traffic can expect the following interruptions:
- Temporary Shoulder Closures along Hallecks Road prior to April 3, 2023.
- Closure of the Hallecks Road Structure from April 3, 2023 through until November 15, 2023.
- Single land closures and shoulder closures on Highway 401 in both Eastbound and Westbound Lanes can be expected throughout construction.
- All Lanes on the 401 will be opened to traffic every weekend however, traffic control closures will resume on Monday mornings.
All consideration has been given to implement traffic control measures to ensure minimal disruption to the traveling public. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation during construction.
Lyn Road Overpass Rehabilitation (Contract 2021-4089)
R.W Tomlinson Limited would like to advise all stakeholders and emergency service providers that construction will soon begin on Highway 401 bridge rehabilitation at Lyn Road [official name County Road 46]. The work is expected to begin on April 3, 2023 and continue until the end of August 2023. Traffic can expect the following interruptions:
- Single lane closures and shoulder closures on Highway 401 in both Eastbound and Westbound Lanes can be expected until May 19, 2023 during days and from July 1, 2023 – August 31, 2023 during nights.
- All Lanes on the 401 will be opened to traffic every weekend however, traffic control closures will resume on Monday mornings.
- Short Duration Temporary Shoulder Closures along Lyn Road from July 1, 2023 – August 31, 2023.
