2024 Bursary Application [REVISED]
The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley Trades Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to residents of Elizabethtown-Kitley who are pursuing a post-secondary education based on a series of eligibility criteria.
New: The bursary is now a one-time award of $1,500.00 and includes apprenticeships under eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria:
Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must reside within the Township and be able to provide proof of residency
- Must be attending or have received admittance to attend full-time post-secondary
education at a recognized institution within the Province of Ontario or entering an apprenticeship program - Program/area of study must be focused on the trades

Must submit a complete application prior to the established deadline:
11:59:59 p.m. on May 31, 2024.
Awarded funds must be used for post-secondary education pursuits which may include
tuition, textbooks, program supplies, specialized training and certification, or other
related costs. The scholarship will be given directly to the education institution
whenever possible.
Note:
- All information contained within the submission will be held in confidence.
- The successful applicant(s) will be invited to attend the Township’s annual Business Luncheon, typically held in late-September/early-October, to be formally recognized.
- The successful applicant(s) will be expected to provide comments to be incorporated into a media release about the scholarship, which would also reveal your name, program of study, attending institution, and possibly photograph.
- By submitting the application, you are declaring the information within it is truthful.
